BLACK METAL RAT PAINTING

Did this one for Helsinki convention.

Will be a little sneak peak of my upcoming sketch book!

Pretty much inspired by black metal, flowers, creepy stuff and rock n' roll.

THE YEAR OF THE OWL

Surprise!!! Another owl. Started on this kick ass chest/belly piece today. 

Will do the shading in a couple of weeks, build on some background.. then eventually.. colors!!!

I wonder how many owls I can make during 2011. Yeah!!! 

UPDATES FROM AROUND

Yes. Been lazy lately with updates.. been a lot of stress and not much finished work to put up.. But finally it starts to get better!

I know I can't update this page without putting up something you people can look at! here is two ones I finished lately;

Finally done with this one!! Always a pleasure and a good time tattooing Lisbeth.

First time I met her was a bar here in Oslo. Then she came to me and got to little swallows on her leg when I was still an apprentice. I remember she was really nervous. haha!!! This was actually the first tattoo I started on at Art & Soul! Fun! Good memories...

Fetus skulls, skulls, macabre things.. things with wings. Everything that is creepy has a place in my heart. A guy in Helsinki was so kind to let me do this one on him.. Thank you! Really a lot of fun... hehe..

Other than that.. Spring is finally here in Oslo. Been skateboarding today. Still a little overtired and messed up, but the sun really helps!! Hoping for better times next week!!!

Taking a little break from conventions now, but the next stop will be the 1st. annual Bergen tattoo convention!! really looking forward to this one... Bergen is one of my favorite cities in Norway. So to all my Bergen friends; send en mail om du vil ha tattoovering! Har få plasser igjen!!!

Finally got this all done and ready for summer legs. haha... Thank you Kaia for beeing the best roomie and giving me this cool project.

When someone asks me what inspires me the most in my work I say; Flowers and Satan. Pretty much sums up everything!

UNHOLY UPDATES

Sorry for not blogging much lately. Not many finished projects to show off, and very busy with everything else. Gonna try to update more on both tattooing and art.. been starting on some cool art projects lately!

On Saturday was the Pirate Party! Did TWO owls.. how cool is that???

The first one was on Daniel. The owl I promised to give away to the first one showing up...for a really nice price. Poor guy was standing outside the door almost an hour before we opened, so.. This one was for you! haha...

Turned out pretty awesome... Thank you, D!

Next owl was on Nicoline. Just did the outline this time.. a little more evil than the pirate version.. but gonna turn out really cool! I also did her leg with a Black Metal lady.. Started on it a looong time ago when I was still fresh.. but after doing some more solid coloring and better lines.. it turned out cool;

Other than that! Working late tonight... Started the day off with building power supplies.. will add some photos of that later. Ended the day with a nice salad and a good session on Cnady's arm. Tired.. need sleep..

 Back from Meltdown convention!
Same as every year, I had a blast! Pretty much th ebest convention in Scandinavia... small, but very good.
Was not working there.. only hang around and moral support for Wienna.

Sorry for being slow on the blogging and updating lately. Been caught up with so much other shit. But tomorrow I'm back at the studio.. really miss all of them!!!

This is a tattoo I did on Nicoline right before I left. I started on it when I was very fresh, felt good too get the colors all freshed up and some background...
Colors are so much fun! Found some new ones in Sweden, can't wait to try em out!

Fresh in flesh, pain, but all worth it... Took him about 4-5 hours. We will see if we have to do a little road trip to getit done soon....

BLOODLETTING

All horror at the studio today. After being sick and all crawled up in my bed for the last 4 days with the flu, it felt so good doing some tattooing again!

Did the first session on Rakel's horror sleeve today.. Got started on Freddy and "The Omen" symbol.

Can't wait for next sitting!

Leaving for Stavanger tomorrow to see my Linda and getting some ink myself. 

So tonight I'm just gonna draw, watch a horror movie and eat waffles. mmmm...

NECRONEWS PART II

Finally, my best friend, Linda arrived Oslo! And as we always do; we tattoo another necro little thing on her body. This time.. Theodor Kittelsen's Pesta..

On our way to the studio we took some pictures.
Some nice neighbors  hanged up bird food in one of the bushes.. And I just simply felt in love with this little fella' and had to snap him with my camera!

So cute.....

 Me and Linda have been best friends for 19(!!!) years now, and I have never met anybody like her... same humor, same music taste, same taste in art, clothes, style...

This weekend we first went to a Glittertind concert.. yesterday we
went to the "We Will Rock You" musical.. it really made chills down my spine. Simply amazing!!!!! SO what is bette than snakeskin pants, leather boots and a black shirt to simply just celebrate the music and magic of Rock n' Roll today? haha....

After having som ebreakfast and chilling at the studio, we were finally ready to put this little thing on Linda. "Pesta i trappen" is an amazing piece of art by the famous artist Theodor Kittelsen.
